Dillon Fowler

Dillon Fowler started cycling, literally, by accident. After sustaining a sports injury, Dillon was forced to undergo hip surgery. Cycling was encouraged as part of Dillon’s rehabilitation program, and it wasn’t long before he was riding more than walking.

Dillon entered his first race in July of 2010 and quickly moved from a Cat 5 to a Cat 4. The following summer, he set a lofty goal of competing at Junior Nationals. Dillon planned out a race schedule and strategy, and in 2011 scored a victory at at the Mineral Wells stage race and a second place finish at the Matrix Challenge. He also achieved his goal of racing at Junior Nationals, finishing 31st in the 17-18 Criterium.

Dillon is a senior at Keller High School, where he is a member of the school’s Mock Trial team. He also enjoys music, videography, and film editing. After completing high school, Dillon plans on attending college and studying aerospace engineering, while continuing to progress as bicycle racer.
